Raluca is a Venture Partner at aMoon. As part of the investment team, she uses her extensive public equities expertise in portfolio construction and risk management.
Raluca spent the first 14 years of her career with Goldman Sachs Investment Partners, a concentrated long term oriented public equities hedge fund launched in 2008 with $6bn AUM. Operating across London and New York, she was a manager of a $800 million dollar technology and telecommunications portfolio as well as a growth-stage technology private investor. Prior to joining aMoon as a Venture Partner, Raluca was a Managing Director with Vitruvian Partners in London, leading their Israel, Spain and Portugal growth-stage private investments.
Raluca has operated at the crossover-public frontier for 18 years and has been an integral part of the journey to IPO of multiple companies, including Israeli champions such as Mobileye, WalkMe and Global-e where she led large growth stage rounds. She enjoys bridging the gap between private and public markets on Boards and working directly with founders.
Raluca earned an MBA from INSEAD and a double degree in Economics and International Studies from the University of Chicago, where she became a Phi Beta Kappa society member, the oldest honors society in the United States.
