Kobi (Yaacov) Vinokur is the Chief Financial Officer of aMoon and Managing Director. As CFO he is responsible for all of the company’s financial functions, including reporting, treasury and corporate finance, as well as for the legal and operations. As Managing Director, he leads sourcing efforts, leads deals, and manages the due diligence process and strategy execution for the fund's portfolio. With a successful previous career in financial management, business leadership, and corporate strategy, Kobi is passionate about leveraging his varied experience to help companies innovate and make a significant positive impact.
Prior to joining aMoon, Kobi served as the Chief Financial Officer at Senstar Technologies (NASDAQ: MAGS), leading the company through a strategic transformation into a technologically rich operation with high profitability margins. Previously, Kobi worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Miya, a global provider of comprehensive water efficiency solutions and water utilities management. Kobi played a critical part in the strategic planning and its execution, resulting in the company’s acquisition by Bridgepoint. In 2016, Kobi was awarded the CFO Excellence Award by The Israeli CFO Forum for his impact as Miya’s CFO.
Kobi has also served in several key leadership positions at Brink's Company (NYSE: BCO), a global leader in cash logistics, as the Chief Financial Officer - Developing Markets division, Director of Procurement – EMEA division and Director of Finance – Global Services division. Prior to his career with Brink's, Kobi worked as an Executive Director at Shapira Films, one of the leading film distribution and production companies in Israel, as well as a Head of Treasury at The Ministry of Defense of Israel.
Kobi currently serves as a Chairman of Audit committee, as well as an External Director at Acum, a society of authors, composers and music publishers in Israel.
Kobi is a certified public accountant in the United States and Israel. He holds a BA in Accounting and Economics (magna cum laude) from Haifa University and a MBA (cum laude) from Tel Aviv University. Kobi is also a graduate of Harvard Business School's Leadership Development Program and of Stanford University’s Mergers & Acquisitions Executive Education Program.
